David Carter by testnaw | Oct 12, 2020 About my wood crafting journeyI created my first wood item at aged 16 in high school. Which was destroyed several decades ago. With a small set of stained Pine shelves in my early twenties followed with a rimu side table in my mid twenties. Both of which are still in daily use. Several decades later, after moving to Rotorua in 2015 I started to become serious about creating wood crafts. Preferably using recycled wood & sustainably sourced native species.
